Working with the Brand Manager and acting as an internal advocate for a portfolio of brands, a Brand Executive will assist in ensuring efficient communication of information, driving business plans to maximise sales, margin and support while ensuring efficient stock turn.

Job Description

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience in a commercial industry – electronics desirable but not essential
  • Proven track record in range management and development alongside producing effective brand strategies
  • A degree is business/marketing/project management is desired but not essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact and internal expert for a suite of brands
  • Support brand manager with the development and progress collaborative business plans for each brand, regularly reporting against progress
  • Identify ways to increase brand presence within existing accounts
  • Ensure all products are set up and maintained with full marketing assets
  • Keep all pricelists up to date and clearly communicate internally
  • Support Brand Managers to coordinate operations on behalf of brands, including logistics, stock allocation and returns
  • Support Brand Managers working on marketing research to understand the competitive landscape and target audience
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the brands’ overall objectives, product roadmap, lifecycle and marketing activity
  • Develop good knowledge for the market, competitor and customer base in your specific product area
  • Identify, engage and evaluate new brands to bring into Kondor portfolio
  • Work with Brand Manager sales forecasts, stock holding and sell through across a wide range of products
  • Keep up to date with online pricing, making sure brand prices are correct and competitive
  • Prepare brand/product forms to set up new brands on the system
  • Prepare presentations for the sales team to present new brands and products
  • Identify slow moving lines and creative exit routes to address them
  • Analyse sales data and conduct market research to inform business decisions and evaluate success
  • Support the monitoring and reporting on a monthly basis to the Brand Managers the performance of the products in your portfolio
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct
