Acting as an internal advocate for a portfolio of designated brands, the responsibility of a Brand Manager is to ensure efficient communication of information, driving business plans to maximise sales, margin and support whilst ensuring efficient stock turn. The role involves working with an enviable collection of globally recognised brands where you will generate strategies that help grow market share, the brand's reputation and improve overall client experience and drive growth.

Essential Experience

  • Education to a degree level - desirable
  • The ability to teach, influence and manage others
  • Organised and process driven approach
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Competent with MS Excel
  • Experience in a Purchasing/Buying or Marketing Sales environment
  • Experience working with brands

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact and internal expert for your suite of brands and products
  • Develop and progress collaborative business plans for each of your brands, regularly reporting against progress
  • You will identify ways to increase brand presence within existing and new accounts, liaise with the sales team to facilitate growth and come up with innovative strategies
  • Successfully demonstrate a clear understanding of the brand's overall objectives, product roadmap, lifecycle and marketing activity
  • You will identify, engage and evaluate brands to bring into the Kondor portfolio, ensuring we are the first to market with a balanced and diverse product offering. You will utilise the appropriate qualification process
  • Ensure we are purchasing products at the best possible price and favourable terms, to achieve defined margin target for Kondor and our customer
  • You will manage sales forecasts, stock holding and sell through for a range of products
  • Be able to identify slow moving lines and develop creative exit routes to address this
  • Negotiate brand support for promotional and marketing opportunities, analyse sales data and conduct market research
  • Ensure brands are represented in retailer-specific promotions
  • Evaluate brands' marketing plans to identify gaps and sell Kondor marketing services where possible
  • Project manage marketing activities through Kondor's Marketing, IT and Operations teams
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct
